Sharing the Love of Travel

The Girl Behind the Blog

Hey there, I’m Madi as I'm sure you can tell I'm obsessed with all things travel-related!

When I was 18 years old, I received my first passport and traveled outside of the US for the first time to Toronto, Canada and became instantly hooked on travel, especially international travel.

I found that I absolutely love being out of my comfort zone and experiencing different cultures from a local perspective.

Travel has definitely shaped me into the person I am today and I would love to inspire others to get out of their comfort zone and explore the world.

I’ve been lucky enough to visit over 18 countries from Sweden to South Korea and everywhere in-between. My goal is to experience living and traveling in as many countries as I can and documenting it all along the way.

In 2018 I lived in Paris, France and had the idea to create a blog based on my experiences traveling hence the use of the word monde which translates to "world" in French.

I recently left my life in South Korea where I lived for just over a year to pursue a masters degree in Tourism in Tours, France.
