νμΈμ, Bonjour tout le monde (Hello everyone)
If youβve been wondering, yes Iβm alive and well. Therefore, I wanted to provide all of my lovely blog readers with a quick life update on whatβs been going on over the past 10 months since I moved to South Korea and why I quit blogging in 2020 until now.
First of all, I wanted to apologize for my inactivity on the blogosphere. During the past 10 months since I moved to Korea.
Iβve been focusing on adjusting to life in a new country including many culture shocks. Here are the 10 biggest culture shocks I have experienced as a tourist and while living in South Korea.
Along with getting used to the lifestyle change and culture shocks I've also been adjusting to a new full-time job teaching English and making new friends.
In my free time, Iβve been mainly focusing my leftover energy on learning both Korean and French and exploring.
Needless to say I've definitely been keeping busy since I left my 2-week quarantine when I first arrived in Korea.
I also felt a lack of motivation needed to write due to the craziness of 2020 and my inability to travel.
I finally am starting to feel more comfortable living in Korea and am motivated to start blogging again.
As for whatβs next I am finishing my current one-year contract, and will stay in Korea for a few months to study the language before going home to America for a break before going to grad school.
I've been working hard to save up as much as possible for my future Masterβs degree. My goal is to study Tourism in France and work in the Tourism industry in Europe.
Above all, thank you so much for your patience and I look forward to updating you with more travel-related content very soon!
Love,
Madi
